On the afternoon of September 11, our school held the unveiling ceremony of the studio of Liu Qingzhu, a researcher of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and the appointment ceremony of Li Yufang, a distinguished professor of the Chinese Academy of social sciences. President Guo Lihong, member of the Standing Committee of the University Party committee and vice president Wang Zhengbin attended the ceremony. Responsible persons of relevant functional departments, cadres at or above the deputy department level, representatives of Party branch secretaries and representatives of all teachers and students attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by the head of the College of cultural heritage.
Guo Lihong and Liu Qingzhu jointly inaugurated the studio, and then presented the appointment letters of chief experts and specially appointed professors to Liu Qingzhu and Li Yufang and delivered speeches. Wang Zhengbin read out the establishment and appointment documents of the studio.
In his speech, Guo Lihong expressed his gratitude to the two experts for their long-term concern and support for the development of our school. He pointed out that the establishment of Liu Qingzhu school committee member studio and the appointment of Li Yufang as a special professor is not only an important measure for the university to strengthen the construction of high-level talent team in archaeology, but also an active practice of the school running concept of "attaching importance to talents, gathering talents and achieving talents". He said that under the careful guidance of Liu Qingzhu and Li Yufang, and with the joint efforts of the whole school, archaeology will be able to give full play to the leading role of high-end talents. Relying on Shaanxi's massive cultural heritage resources, it will achieve fruitful results in serving the national strategy, cultural inheritance and innovation, strengthening scientific research cooperation, introducing high-end talents, and improving social reputation, so as to write a new era West A new chapter in the development of archaeology.
In their speeches, Liu Qingzhu and Li Yufang highly praised the construction and development of Archaeology in our university. They said that they have been working closely with the archaeology discipline of Northwest University for a long time. They are appointed as the chief expert and special professor this time. They will give full play to their advantages, integrate resources and contribute to the construction and development of archaeology.
After the ceremony, Liu Qingzhu was invited to give a "Hou Wailu academic lecture" for the teachers and students of our school.
